• Contact information you provide: name, email, phone number, property address, and project details submitted through our Contact form, Free Score quiz, Smart Home Budget Calculator, or For Partners application
• Payment information: processed directly by Stripe, our third-party payment processor; we do not receive or store your full card number
• Automatic information: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and similar usage data collected through cookies and analytics tools
• Report-related information: details about a property and its systems that you or an inspector provide in connection with a Report

3. Comments

If you leave a comment on the Site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, along with your IP address and browser user agent string, to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (called a hash) may be shared with the Gravatar service to check whether you're using it. The Gravatar service's privacy policy is available at automattic.com/privacy. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public alongside your comment.

4. Media

If images are uploaded to the Site, we avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the Site can download and extract location data from any image on the Site that does include it.

• Our affiliated companies, including Global Wave Integration, Waverly AI, and FutureCare Solutions Group, which may receive and use your information to support installation, intelligence, and care-enabled living services connected to your Report or inquiry, consistent with this Policy
• An automated spam detection service, if you submit a comment through the Site
• Legal or safety authorities, if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Foresight, our users, or others

If you request a password reset, your IP address is included in the reset email.

7. Cookies & Tracking

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and Site functionality. Where required, we provide a cookie notice and honor recognized opt-out signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.

The Site also uses the following standard cookies tied to core website functionality:

• If you leave a comment, you may opt in to saving your name, email, and website in a cookie for your convenience on future comments. These cookies last one year.
• If you visit our login page, we set a temporary cookie to check whether your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
• When you log in, we set cookies to save your login information and screen display choices. Login cookies last two days, and screen options cookies last a year. If you select "Remember Me," your login persists for two weeks. Logging out removes your login cookies.
• If you edit or publish content on the Site, an additional cookie is saved in your browser. It contains no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the content you edited. It expires after one day.

8. Embedded Content

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely, so we can recognize and automatically approve any follow-up comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For any users who register on the Site, we also store the personal information provided in their user profile. Users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time, except they cannot change their username. Site administrators can also view and edit that information.
